Sloan will go through hell and back for her little brother. And she does, every single night.

Forced to remain in a relationship with the dangerous and corrupt Asa Jackson, Sloan will do whatever it takes to make sure her brother has what he needs.

Nothing will get in her way.

Nothing except Carter.

Sloan is the only good thing to ever happen to Asa. He knows this and he never plans on letting her go; even if she doesn’t approve of his lifestyle. But despite Sloan’s disapproval, Asa knows what it takes to get what he wants. He knows what he needs to do to remain on top.

Nothing will get in his way.

Nothing except Carter.

Fun and tension filled read. Less angst, more drama which I can deal with but it was almost TOO much unnecessary drama. I think if I would have read this in parts like most people I would have ate it up more and been more worked up for it. I will say this though: I have never seen this side of coho and I’m impressed. Storyline and writing wise.

My three star rating? There was insta-love. Yell at me all you want but there was. No no for me. And it was super insta! An hour or two? Was it even a whole day? No…

I felt like there was a couple of huge plot holes that should have been filled. Desperately. The story was choppy and cliche and cheesy but it worked for Sloan, Asa, and Carter and their story.

The writing style was “coho the great” all the way. It was quick and flowy and entertaining.

Much appreciation to Colleen for this fun and free read! But wtf do I have to do to get an epilogue? I’ll make 50,000 wattpad accounts if I have to, don’t tempt me Colleen. You know I’ll do it.
